Community Service Day 2024
Mahatma Education Society’s institution in collaboration with several NGOs, annually hosts a ‘Community Service Day’, a heart warming celebration of love and compassion. This event symbolizes our collective commitment to making a positive impact on society. Pillai HOC Institute of Management Studies and Research enthusiastically participated, adding its efforts to this noble cause. At the outset PHIMSR thanks our esteemed Founder, Chairman and CEO, Dr. K. M. Vasudevan Pillai, Chairperson of Management Board, MES, respected Dr. Daphne Pillai and Director & Trustee of Mahatma Education Society, Mr. Franav Pillai the brainchild behind an inter MES Institution competition, Uberang for imbibing a sense of social responsibility in both the staff as well as the students. The joy was palpable, with students overwhelmed by the whole experience. Also, we thank Dr. Upendar Sontake under whose leadership the entire community service this year was organised . A special mention to Ms. Yvette Lee Lee, MES Counsellor who well coordinated the entire event. Thank you also to our respected Director Dr. Ketan Vira for encouraging us to be a part of this memorable event. The faculties and students of PHIMSR actively came forward for this great cause. The day brimmed with vibrant energy and touching moments as children and elders from partner NGOs showcased their talents through engaging games, activities, and performances. These interactions, though simple, brought smiles and joy to all present. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to unite in this meaningful initiative, where love and kindness prevail. Let us continue to spread warmth and compassion, one small act at a time, for the betterment of our society.
