MOU signing between PHiMSR and NISM towards Joint certification of programs.
PHiMSR is proud to announce its MoU and joint collaboration with National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) an education initiative promoted by Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and Ministry of Finance, Govt. of India.
This MOU was signed on 23rd March, 2018 at Conclave, Pillai HOC Eductional Campus, Rasayani in presence of Dr. K. M. Vasudevan Pillai, Chairman and CEO – MES Group of Institutions, Dr. Pradip P Chatterjjee, Director, PHiMSR, Dr. Lata Menon, Dy CEO, Dr. Sandip Ghosh, Director, NISM, Dr. Prof. Sunder Ram Korivi, Dean, NISM and Dr. Nitin Tike, NISM.
The aim of this joint collaboration is to equip graduates and post graduates management students for careers in financial / securities market. Indian Securities and Financial Markets have been growing in terms of market capitalisation, number of listed companies, amount of capital raised, use of technology and significant reforms being brought in among other things. With growing economic activity, financial and securities market will offer rewarding career opportunities to young students.
Hence the need was felt to join hands and this joint collaboration and certification between PHiMSR and NISM will prepare students for careers in financial services, stock broking businesses, mutual funds distribution, depository etc.
